 Logan Dulien, a surfer from Newport Beach, California, became a victim of a gang that stole over $1 million from surfers by targeting their cars while they were in the water. After losing more than $150,000 due to fraudulent charges on his accounts, Dulien used surveillance footage to help identify the thieves. The gang’s method involved stealing phones and wallets and then accessing bank accounts through hacking. Authorities arrested one key suspect, Moundir Kamil, a hacker with a criminal history. Dulien has since recovered most of his money and feels safer knowing the thieves are being pursued by law enforcement.
